Above the ceiling

Attic services

In summer an unsealed attic runs far hotter than the air outside, and every gap in the ceiling pulls that heat down into your rooms. Seven ways we fix it.

Attic cleaning

Vacuum out contaminated insulation, droppings and debris, then sanitize and deodorize the space.

Full containment

Rodent proofing

Find every entry point at the eaves, vents and roofline and close them with steel mesh and sealant.

Entry points sealed

Air sealing

Seal the gaps around can lights, top plates, chases and duct boots that quietly leak your conditioned air.

Do this first

Insulation removal & installation

Old material out, new blown-in or batt insulation in — brought up to the depth your climate zone calls for.

R-38 and up

Whole house fan (QuietCool)

Pulls cool evening air through the house and pushes the hot attic air out. Sized and installed to spec.

QuietCool dealer

Air duct repair & replacement

Crawl space services

Cold floors, a musty smell that won't leave, scratching at night — those problems usually live under the house. Six ways we fix it.

Crawl space cleaning

Clear out fallen insulation, debris and animal waste, then sanitize the ground and framing.

Sanitized

Rodent proofing

Screen the foundation vents and seal every gap along the perimeter, pipe and wire penetration.

Perimeter sealed

Air sealing

Close the rim joist, subfloor penetrations and hatch so damp outside air stops washing up into the house.

Stops draft

Insulation

New batts fitted and secured between the floor joists, so the floor above stops feeling cold in winter.

Warm floors

Air duct repair & replacement

Ducts under the house sag, tear and disconnect. We re-hang, reseal or replace the whole run.

Leak tested

Reviews

What customers say

Twelve years of work, and we're just starting to collect these properly.

If we've been in your attic or under your house, we'd be glad to hear how it went — good or bad. Reviews go up on this page once we've matched them to the job.

How it works

Four steps, no surprises

STEP 01

We look

A technician goes into the space and photographs what's actually there. Free, and about 45 minutes.

STEP 02

You get a written price

Line by line, with the photos attached. Nothing starts until you say yes.

STEP 03

We do the work

Floors covered, containment up, old material hauled away the same day.

STEP 04

We walk it with you

After photos, what changed, and what to watch for. Workmanship is warrantied.

Questions

Before you call

How do I know if my insulation needs replacing?

Look for insulation you can see the joists through, matted or dark grey patches, or any sign of rodents. Contaminated insulation can't be cleaned — it comes out. If it's simply thin, we can often add over the top instead.

Do I need rodent proofing if I already had traps set?

Trapping removes the animals in the space today. Proofing closes the way in, so the next ones don't replace them. We recommend doing both, and proofing before any new insulation goes down.

Will a whole house fan replace my air conditioning?

Not replace — offset. On evenings when it's cooler outside than in, a QuietCool fan flushes the house and attic in minutes for a fraction of what the AC costs to run. On a 105° afternoon you still want the AC.

Why does air sealing come before insulation?

Insulation slows heat, but it doesn't stop moving air. Laid over unsealed gaps, it just filters the leak while dust keeps tracking through it. Sealing first is what makes the insulation perform the way its rating says it should.

How long does a typical job take?

Most attic or crawl space packages are one to two days. Duct replacement and roofing take longer. You'll get the real number in your quote, not after we start.

Do I have to be home?

For the inspection, yes — we'll want to show you the photos and hear which rooms bother you. For the work itself, only for the start and the walkthrough.
